The Sierra Nevada Lodge sign, located on Old Mammoth Road is flanked with five baby bears and a mama bear. They were carved by one of Mammoth’s best local artists. The baby bears represent each of the Demetriades’ children. It has become a favorite spot for photo opportunities.
